Abstract
The aim of this study was to analyze contemporary sociocultural phenomena and values through characteristics of augmented reality (AR) digital fashion design. The research method included a literature review on the metaverse and augmented reality, combined with a case study using both quantitative analysis through big data text mining and qualitative analysis through constant comparison. Data analysis was conducted using Python-based open-source tools: First, 6,725 data entries were collected from AR digital fashion platforms and brands identified in articles from Vogue and Vogue Business containing keywords of 'augmented reality' and 'digital fashion. Second, text preprocessing involved stop word removal, tokenization, and POS-tagging of nouns and adjectives using the NLTK library. Third, top 50 keywords were extracted through term frequency (TF) and TF-IDF analysis, with results visualized using a word cloud. Fourth, characteristics of products’ external design and internal concepts that contained top keywords were classified, with their value examined through repeated comparison. Results indicate that AR digital fashion design has the following characteristics. First, it embodies surreal fantasy through designs that mimic natural biological patterns using 3D scanning and modeling technology. Second, it presents a trans-boundary aspect by utilizing the fluidity of body and space to challenge vertical and discriminatory social structures. Third, it imagines a new future transcending traditional sociocultural concepts by expanding perceptions of space and time based on advanced technological aesthetics. Fourth, it contributes to sustainability by exploring alternatives for the fashion industry in response to climate change and ecological concerns.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to research modern reinterpretation of traditional Chinese culture and design development of fashion items in the context of globalization and technological advancements, reflecting fashion demands of young female consumers in their 20s in China. To achieve this, this study investigated fashion preferences of young women in major Chinese cities, focusing on design elements such as form, details, patterns, and colors in ‘New Chinese Style’ fashion. Results indicated a high preference for overlapping collars, Mandarin collars, oblique front pieces, and slit sleeves. Additionally, there was a strong preference for natural and eco-friendly materials such as plant dyes and embossed velvet. Based on survey results and analysis of the popular brand ‘TUYUE,’ this study proposed two design themes. The first theme, ‘natural symbiosis,’ focused on casual wear with a soft and free image with a simple design. The second theme, ‘chivalrous guest,’ targeted work attire with minimal designs emphasizing power and confidence. Both themes aimed to meet aesthetic and practical needs of modern women by incorporating overlapping collars, asymmetrical front pieces, slit sleeves, and preferred colors and patterns. In conclusion, although this study was limited to design preferences of young Chinese women in their 20s, results offer valuable direction for future design innovation, contributing to sustainable development of the fashion industry and the preservation and innovation of traditional culture.

Abstract
This study explored and compared apparel products in domestic and international adaptive apparel markets through the lens of inclusive design to improve lives of people with disabilities. The purpose of this research was to gain a deeper understanding of these markets, identify product characteristics, and examine factors for continuous growth of the adaptive apparel market. In the domestic market, Heartist is the only brand that has consistently commercialized a wide range of apparel products. This brand did not limit itself to developing apparel specifically for people with disabilities, but combined stylish design and functionality to make enhancements accessible to a wider range of users. However, its actual products in the marketplace reflect only a few functional enhancements rather than accounting for various types of physical capabilities. Adaptive apparel brands in international markets were segmented by various design purposes, enabling wearers with different physical capabilities to enjoy a wider range of designs. Selected brands focused on business casual styles, incorporating various fastenings and magnetic closures for enhanced functionality. Findings of this research will furnish designers and product developers with practical insights, thereby contributing to tangible and positive improvements of lives for people with disabilities.

Abstract
This study aimed to classify leg shapes of adult males according to their obesity levels and examine characteristics of each type. The goal was to provide essential data for developing tight-fit pants patterns for adult males. Factors defining leg shapes of adult males were identified as leg horizontal factor, leg vertical factor, ankle thickness factor, and ankle height factor. Leg shapes were categorized into four types: 1) type 1, medium-thick, short legs with thin, medium-height ankles; 2) type 2, medium-thick, long legs with thin, low-height ankles; 3) type 3, thin, medium-length legs with thick, high-height ankles; and 4) type 4, thick, short legs with thick, medium-height ankles. The higher the obesity level, the greater the proportion of type 4, whereas the lower the obesity level, the greater the proportion of types 2 and 3. This suggests that as obesity levels increase, the number of individuals with very thick legs, thick ankles, and shorter legs also increases. Implications of leg shape according to obesity levels in adult males are as follows. First, different age groups require distinct pants patterns. Second, when grading sizes, the variation by body part should be adjusted according to age group. This study is significant as it classifies leg shapes of adult males based on obesity levels and examines characteristics of each type.

Abstract
Despite a continuous decline in birth rate, children's clothing market is growing, driven by consumption trends of MZ generation parents who are willing to invest generously in their only child. Therefore, this study aimed to: 1) analyze changes in children's clothing market; 2) ascertain preferences and consumption patterns of MZ generation parents towards children's textile designs through surveys; and 3) develop textile designs targeting MZ generation parents based on these research findings. This study involved processes of literature review, market research, and design development. Survey results indicated that 'patterns and prints' were the most critical factor when purchasing children's clothing. The design process reflected survey and literature review findings, starting from idea conception to motif setting, pattern development, colorway, and simulation checks for final application suitability. Designs were executed using CAD programs centered around the main theme 'Enchanted Tea Party' and five sub-themes. This research was significant as it conducted surveys known to be challenging for corporations, thereby capturing the essence of MZ generation parents' preferences through the design process. This will provide essential information for establishing children's clothing design and marketing strategies, contributing to sustained growth of the market and enhancing the competitiveness of children's clothing brands.
This study explored boundaryless characteristics of Posthumanist black color fashion by examining fashion collections from 2018 to 2023 that explicitly incorporated Posthumanist paradigms through literature review and case analysis. Black color fashion reflects key Posthumanist attributes such as dissolution of boundaries in ecology, academia, gender, and Western-centrism. These characteristics are manifested as 'organic expression of nature and technology encompassing the body,' 'robust expression of hybridized imagery,' and 'fusion of Eastern traditional cultural expressions.' In the 'organic expression of nature and technology,' flora and fauna motifs are applied or an advanced technology is employed to realize organic forms, offering an experimental representation of post-anthropocentrism, focusing on avant-garde and sensuous fashion images. 'Robust expression of hybridized imagery' combines masculine body expressions with bold accessories to convey a resistant fashion image to gender identity norms while utilizing traditional male fashion items to present a strong and charismatic image. 'Fusion of E astern traditional cultural expressions' integrates traditional elements from various Eastern cultures into materials, producing opulent yet ascetic fashion images through designs that can conceal the body's silhouette, reflecting a restrained image of black in Eastern cultures. This study provides a multi-layered interpretation of black color fashion in the Posthuman era, addressing themes such as 'representation of diverse organic life forms, gender fluidity, and challenges to Western-centric narratives,' contributing to a deeper understanding of how fashion interacts with socio-cultural contexts.
